Sonnya Crawford, DVM --- Dr. Sonnya is a graduate of Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.  She is passionate about treating and caring for small animals.  Her special interests lie in exotic bird medicine, breeding and behavior.  She also has special interests in dermatology and dentistry.  She is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Washington State Veterinary Medical AssociationAmerican Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and the American Bloodhound Club.  She grew up in Marysville, Washington and spent time in Aberdeen during high school.

Dr. Sonnya has many pets with the newest edition being "Agustus (Gus)" the bloodhound!  She has six birds: an African Grey named "Josie", Macaws "Inco" & "Keioki", Caiques "Ducky" & "Wabo", and a Patagonian Conure "Meechie". Cats "Monday" and "Eva" live at home with her while "Milo" lives happily at the clinic.  She also has s flock of ducks and keeps a large saltwater fish tank.  She has 3 children; Kellie, Dan, and Allison.

In her spare time, Dr. Sonnya enjoys spending time with her kids and pets, fishing, cooking, shopping, and crafts.

Dr. Timothy Crawford


Timothy B. Crawford, DVM, PhD, ACVM -- Dr. Tim received his DVM from Texas A&M, and his PhD in veterinary pathology from WSU. He is board certified in Veterinary Microbiology, disciplines of Virology and Immunology. He spent many years on the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine faculty, engaged in infectious disease research and teaching. His special interests are infectious diseases and internal medicine. He has given many presentations at national and international equine and infectious disease meetings. He also spent over 10 years in private equine practice before coming to the Grays Harbor area. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners, the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians, and the American Bloodhound Club.
 
Dr. Tim has a Bloodhound named "Lizzy" who can be spotted riding shotgun in his truck.  He also shares several more pets with his wife including ducks, parrots, and several more dogs. 
 
In his spare time, Dr. Tim enjoys gardening, Search & Rescue, fishing, construction and reading.

 

Dr. Anderson and Leonard

Doug Anderson DVM --- Dr. Anderson is a graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He owned and operated Olympic Veterinary Service Hospital in Aberdeen WA for thirteen years; that practice was then merged into Raintree Veterinary Center in Hoquim Wa.  Dr. Anderson went on to do relief veterinary work at various clinics around Grays Harbor and the south sound area while he was developing his family farm.

In 2014 he accepted a position at Grays Harbor Veterinary Services and says that he is "very pleased to be a part of this excellent team."  Dr Anderson is passionate about preventive medicine and said that "catching a disease process early and educating the client how to recognize and prevent problems early before the animal is clinically ill is satisfying because it means we prevented unnecessary suffering and it is generally more economically sound."

Dr. Anderson owns a small farm on the Wynoochee river that he and his wife created and that they enjoy sharing with a multitude of animals both wild and domestic. He has a reverence for life through the human animal bond and enjoys helping others appreciate that in their own lives.
His daughter is currently attending veterinary school at 
Washington State University. His two sons have also become animal enthusiasts as well.
In his spare time he enjoys various outdoor pursuits in all seasons.

 

Dr. Lacey Dyckhoff and Dr. Sonnya Crawford

Dr. Lacey Dyckhoff has joined the GHVS team after graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Washington State University! 

 

Dr. Lacey was born in South Korea and grew up in Renton, WA.  She first attended the University of Washington where she earned degrees in both Molecular Biology and Psychology.  While in college she discovered how much she enjoyed science and decided to pursue a career that would combine her love of science with her love and compassion for animals as well as her desire to help people.  After deciding that she wanted to become a veterinarian, she moved to Pullman, WA where she attended the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

 

Dr. Lacey's veterinary-related interests include internal medicine, anesthesia/pain management, and soft tissue surgery.  She enjoys watching Mariners games, camping, browsing bookstores, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
