Dr. Ally O’Connor
Veterinarian
Dr. Ally O’Connor has been loudly proclaiming her intention to become a vet since she was 5 years old, and her passion for animals and medicine has only become stronger with time. Although most of her childhood was spent in Nebraska, Dr. O’Connor is no stranger to the mountains, having spent many of her summer and winter breaks in the Rockies with her family, and she’s excited to be moving closer to her extended family in Billings. As an undergraduate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Dr. O’Connor developed an interest in animal behavior while working towards her degree in Veterinary Science. In her free time, she worked at a mixed animal clinic that specialized in dogs and horses. She completed veterinary school at Iowa State University as part of the joint Iowa-Nebraska program.
Dr. O’Connor loves forming connections with her patients and clients, building relationships to help provide the best quality of life for each pet. Her professional interests include preventive care, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic ultrasound. When she’s not at work, Dr. O’Connor loves to be outside, whether hiking, camping, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, or horseback riding. She is also an avid reader and loves to curl up with her dog Charlie and a good book at the end of a long hike. She has a special place in her heart for Labrador retrievers, especially childhood dogs Mack and Tank, and her vet school partner Charlie.
Dr. O’Connor looks forward to meeting you and being there for your pets!
